La Bamba Ranch - San antonio de Areco, Province of Buenos Aires

La Bamba

La Bamba, located at 123 km. From Buenos Aires, has been one of the first Argentine estates to open its gates to tourism.
It was built around 1830, when the main building, of colonial style, was only an old posthouse at the Camino Real (Royal Road), road that went from Buenos Aires to the northern part of the country.

It was declared a place of historical importance by the Municipality of San Antonio de Areco, a town absorbed in the gaucho tradition, source of "Don Segundo Sombra".
